"Ginger and Scott are an absolutely top-notch jazz vocal duo". We have been dubbed "the swingmeister" and "fabulous chanteuse." Think Mel Torme/Jack Jones meets Julie London/Annie Ross. Or... Jackie Cain and Roy Kral...or Rosemary Clooney and Bing Crosby. We lead our own bands and are featured artists with other bands, but together they are a unique songwriting team of musical gravitas!

What sets us apart? Talent and experience in spades. Shakespeare said that "All things by season seasoned are...to their right praise and true perfection." We've worked musical lifetimes to find each other and are the real seasoned and swingin' deal!

We bring to the stage a silky vocal blend, innate sense of swing, and reverence for the jazz tradition, evoking memories of Jackie Cain and Roy Kral (among others). The Great American Songbook serves as a centerpiece of our repertoire, includes some of the great jazz classics, and a sprinkling of original material. For an example, Ginger and Scott sent their charts ahead to Sacramento State and their big band rehearsed it, and traveled up to sing with them for the New American Music Festival on November 11th, 2007. Those young musicians did a fantastic job!

Ginger and Scott also traveled to Barcelona for Christmas 2007 and sang all of their new "Dreamsville" material with the Big Band Jazz Terrassa. Thank you's to Catalonians for the wonderful reception!

Ginger and Scott toured the West Coast in March '08, '09, '10 and April '11 and are featured with the Stan Kenton Alumni Band for a mid-west April-May '08-'11. We toured the Southwest on our way to and from a jazz cruise in Nov. '09. Hope to see you too, at the Prescott Jazz Summit in Arizona in August '11.
